General Terms and Conditions for Renting and Using the Site

1. Purpose

These general terms and conditions are intended to define the terms of use of the website https://www.lemasdeflore.fr/le-quercy-blanc as well as the booking and rental conditions for the gîte Le QUERCY BLANC.

All reservations imply unreserved acceptance of these conditions.

3. Description of the cottage

The holiday cottage offered for rent is a furnished tourist accommodation intended for temporary use. The description, amenities, capacity and rates are presented on the website as accurately as possible.

The photos are for illustrative purposes only.

4. Booking Conditions

The reservation becomes effective after:

  • acceptance of these terms and conditions
  • payment of the deposit in the amount of 30%

The balance of your stay must be paid no later than the day after your arrival date. (Credit card / cash) / Payments by check are not accepted.

5. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, [including VAT / not subject to VAT – art. 293B of the French General Tax Code]. They include accommodation for the duration of the stay, excluding any optional extras (cleaning, linen, tourist tax).

Pets are accepted subject to prior agreement, with an additional charge of €3 per pet per day.

6. Security Deposit

A security deposit of [500 euros] may be required upon arrival. It will be returned after the inventory check, less any deductions for damages.

7. Cancellation Policy

The cancellation conditions are as follows:

  • More than 30 days before arrival: refund according to the conditions stipulated
  • Between 30 and 15 days: deposit/down payment retained
  • Less than 15 days or no-show: full stay due

In case of early departure, no refund will be given.

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the tenant does not have a right of withdrawal.

8. Cancellation by the owner

In the event of cancellation by the owner, the tenant will be refunded in full.

9. Tenant's Obligations

The tenant agrees to:

  • use the cottage peacefully
  • respect the maximum capacity
  • return the accommodation in a compliant condition
  • report any damage observed

Parties, noise disturbances and subletting are prohibited.

10. Responsibility

The owner cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft or accident occurring in the cottage or its surroundings.

The tenant is responsible for any damage caused during their stay.

11. Assurance

The tenant is required to have holiday liability insurance coverage.

12. Personal Data

The personal data collected is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website.

13. Applicable Law and Disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action is taken.
