Cancellation Policy – Cottage Rental

1. Cancellation by the tenant

Any cancellation must be notified in writing (email or letter).

The cancellation conditions are as follows:

• More than 30 days before arrival: Refund of the deposit, less any administrative fees.
• Between 30 and 15 days before arrival: The deposit remains with the owner.
• In the event of early departure by the tenant, no refund can be demanded.

2. Cancellation by the owner

In the event of cancellation by the owner, the owner undertakes to reimburse all sums paid by the tenant as soon as possible, without the tenant being able to claim any additional compensation.

3. Force majeure

Neither party shall be held liable in the event of cancellation due to a force majeure event (natural disaster, administrative decision, exceptional circumstances beyond the control of the parties).

4. Cancellation insurance

The tenant is advised to take out cancellation insurance with the organization of their choice in order to protect themselves against the risks of cancellation.

5. Acceptance of conditions

All bookings imply full and complete acceptance of this cancellation policy.
